Austin Allegro 1300 SDL 1973 – £1495

***  Rolling Restoration.  ***

This is very early example of the loved (or hated!) Austin Allegro.

This was recovered from a barn (yes a genuine barn!) and a same family car since new.

Lovely original paperwork and brochures from the period the car was new, lots of history etc. The bill of sale is included and even a newspaper cutting featuring this very car.

The cars paintwork shined up quite nicely when we t-cut the front wings – obviously after a long lay up the car will require total commissioning and some welding to pass an MOT (sills and rear subframe)

Good Points:

HPI Clear,

Engine runs very well and selects gears fine and drives

Genuine low millage of 62k!

Square Steering Wheel – ‘The famous Quartic’

Original manuals,

Original bill of sale with extras added!

Solid floor

Bad Points:

Needs a battery…

Needs a clutch slave cylinder… (Was taken off the road years ago because this failed)

Will need some welding to sills and some on the rear subframe…
